Jubany Scientific Station is an Argentine permanent base in the Antarctic located at 62°14′S 58°40′W / 62.233°S 58.667°W / -62.233; -58.667, first settled in 1953 in the 25 de Mayo island among the South Shetland Islands. It has a max. population of 60 people. It is near other bases (from Uruguay, Chile, Korea, Russia, China and Poland), and next to a colony of more than 16,000 penguins and 650 sea lions.

The Station was erected in 1982, and has an average winter population of 20 people. The base has 15 buildings, two laboratories and a movie theater. In order to reach it, it is necessary to fly from Ushuaia to Base Marambio and then sail for a few days.
