Judy Grimes is a recurring character on Saturday Night Live portrayed by Kristen Wiig.
First appearing on April 12, 2008, Judy is Weekend Update's Travel Expert, who is called on to discuss travel related issues in the news. As a result of her extreme fear of being on television she babbles uncontrollably whenever she's asked a question, punctuating her sentences with "Just Kidding!". However, despite her enormous amount of talking, it rarely relates to the topic in question, prompting anchors to ask if she'd rather come back another time when she's less nervous.
As noted in her second appearance, her name might actually be Julie, but she might just be kidding.
In her latest appearance, she brings out a line graph labeled "Travel" al the bottom, nothing more, and moves her pointer up and down the chart saying "just kidding."
As she gets more panicked, her stories get more and more unbelievable, and she says "just kidding" more and more frequently and changes the subject, culminating in her being excused by the anchor.
This skit closely resembles the classic Improvisation game of "change". Whereby a player has to perform a scene, but change the last line whenever "change" is called. The result of changes create crazier and crazier scenarios. This game is also known as "new choice". In this case the word "just kidding" replaces change and the character is calling it herself.
