The Julia is an unknown sound recorded by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Some speculate it to be the song of a dying whale, but there is insufficient evidence to support this conclusion [1]. It is one of several sounds which remain unidentified, most popularly referring to the Bloop.
