June Browne Newton born in Melbourne, Australia, in 1923 is an Australian actress who later became a successful photographer under the ironic pseudonym 'Alice Springs' (after the central Australian town).

She married fashion photographer Helmut Newton, in 1948, in Melbourne, Australia.
