KFNK (104.9 FM) is a modern rock radio station licensed to Eatonville, Washington and serving the southern Puget Sound region centered around Tacoma. The station's nickname is "The Funky Monkey" (sometimes referred to as "The Monkey 104.9"). In fact, it competes up against Entercom rockers KISW (active rock) and KNDD (alternative rock).

KFNK is owned and operated by Clear Channel Communications, which also owns and operates six other radio stations in the Puget Sound region: KBKS-FM (Top 40 Mainstream), KHHO (Sports), KJR-FM (Classic Hits), KJR (AM) (Sports), KNBQ (Country), and KUBE (Urban).

The station is somewhat anomalous in that it rarely has disc jockeys hosting segments of airtime, and relies heavily on broadcast automation. There is one full-time disk jockey, and 3 part-time air personalities do one show a week each. Most songs end with a voiceover identifying the song title and artist, also called a "backsell."
