KHB40 (sometimes referred to as Galveston All-Hazards) is a NOAA Weather Radio station that serves the coastal communities of Greater Houston and can be heard over 40 miles into the Gulf of Mexico. It is programmed from the National Weather Service forecast office in League City, Texas with its transmitter located in Galveston on top of the American National Insurance building.[1] It broadcasts weather and hazard information for the following Counties: Brazoria, Chambers, Galveston, and Southeast Harris
