KMAX-FM (94.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic hits format. Licensed to Wellington, Colorado, USA, the station serves the Fort Collins-Greeley area. The station is currently owned by Regent Broadcasting of Ft. Collins, Inc.[1]


The station was granted a construction permit on 2000-04-21 under a temporary call sign, and on 2002-10-15, the station changed its call sign to KKQZ. The FCC issued a license to cover on 2003-02-26 and on 2007-05-07, the call sign was changed to the current KMAX-FM.[2]
