KPXR-TV is the Ion Television affiliate for Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The station is owned by ION Media Networks, and operates a digital signal on channel 47.

Digital television

After the analog television shutdown and digital conversion, which is scheduled to take place on February 17, 2009 [1], KPXR will continue digital broadcasts on its pre-transition channel number, 47 and its PSIP virtual channels will remain unchanged.
