KQMT (99.5 The Mountain, previously, 99.5 The Hawk) is a Album Rock/Classic rock station serving the Denver area and is owned by Entercom Communications Corp.

History

In 1969 the station signed on with a Classical Music Station as KVOD.

KVOD was originally a commercial radio station, marketing as the voice of classical music for the Denver Metro area on 99.5 FM from 1969 to 1995. In 1995, the station moved to 92.5 FM following the sale of the 99.5 frequency to Tribune Broadcasting who launched a classic rock station called KKHK (the HAWK).
