History

KSVN began broadcasting in 1947. It was an English speaking station for many years. In the 1960's it was known as "K-7 Radio". Also known as "K-730 Radio" and was owned by the same group that owned KSXX "K-630" in Salt Lake City. The two stations were "sister" Top 40 stations before KCPX 1320 became a Top 40 Powerhouse in the mid 1960's. KSVN now is a "Spanish station since 1989, and KSXX changed to talk format station in English under different call letters (KTKK) as time went on still at 630 on the AM Radio band.
