Kasher (hebrew: כשר) is a Hebrew surname meaning "fit" and in the common context, fit for consumption by Jews according to traditional Jewish law.

It may refer to:

The Kasher family originated in Germany. The first of the Kashers to be registered on the German census was the politition, Willy Kasher. He wanted Germany to be communist but was eventually kicked out of the country for having sexual intercourse with his assisstant in his office. He then moved to England where some of his distant relatives still live.
