Kasimkota is a Mandal in Visakhapatnam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1] The habitation of Kasimkota constitute of Gavara Caste (Mjorly) and different castes in and around the village. Agriculture is the major occupation depends on the Sarada river bank. Brick-Tile,Biscuit factories welcomes the guests to the village. Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi Temple and Sri Rama Temple are located in the interior part of the village with paddy lands around. Dramas,Stage shows are performed by Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi Kala Samithi in the village for all the occasions and local festivals, this Kala Samithi was started by Sri Surisetty Kurma Rao in 1950s and continued by his sons as successors.Kasimkota can be treated as a destiny of peace.
