Kate Parry (born 29 April 1979, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian musical theatre performer, noted for her character acting, four octave mezzosoprano singing voice, her voiceover work and recording work Drum & Bass.
Parry started her career at the tender age of 2, she was one of the original Play School Toy children and was the face of AIM toothpaste throughout the USA at the age of 4, as she discovered her voice she was sort out by the Walt Disney Co. to be a Singer and travelled extensively with them throughout America, South East Asia and Australia - New Zealand. Kate culminated her training as one of the youngest graduates of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts earning a B.A in Musical theatre; Kate is also a graduate of the prestigious Talent Development Project.

Parry studied at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in 2000. While studying in Perth, she was directed and tutored by a number of notable Australian performers such as David King, Tony Sheldon, Nick Enright, Roma Conway, Rhys Mconnochie, Adam Cook, Chrissie Koltai, John Milson and Nancye Hayes. Prior to graduating, she starred in the original recording and premiere performance of Jack The Ripper by Mathew Frank, Medea(as Narrator), Follies (as young Sally), The Cradle Will Rock (as Yasser), Johana (as Miss gilternan), and Carousel (as Nettie Fowler).
While in Western Australia, she also appeared in Rising Stars at Burswood Casino in Perth,
Parry has an extensive live performing career. Starting in the talent quests of the RSL clubs in New South Wales, she quickly became the face of the Six O'clock Rock tribute show. This led to great work with one of Sydney's premier corporate bands "Blue Train" covering styles from Jazz right through to current top 40 hits. they were very much in demand.
She made her professional debut starring alongside Anthony Warlow and Amanda Muggleton in the 25th Australian Anniversary production of Annie, directed by one of the shows creators Martin Charnin, Kate played the role of "Star to be", the show toured through Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with her performance gaining rave reviews in each city.
This led to the lead role of "Helen" in the world premier of "What the World Needs Now" a jukebox musical based on the songs of Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Hal David oversaw the production and labelled Kate as a singer with a bright future.

At the age of 15 Parry was invited to work for Walt Disney Co. this began a 10 year working relationship with the company that saw her perform in HongKong, Taiwan, New Zealand, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Thailand, Australia. She performed for the Crown Princess of Thailand at her request to celebrate the mellinium.
In 1999, Parry released a Drum & Bass Single with Adrian Sardi [producer] thru the Aspect Record Label that hit the top 10 in the UK dance charts
In 1994, Parry was crowned Miss Manly Wharf - and is still the current title holder.
