Kate A. Micucci is an American actress, comedian, artist, and singer-songwriter, best known for being half of the comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates.

Born in New Jersey, Micucci was raised in Nazareth, Pennsylvania where she learned to play classical piano. She graduated in 1998 from Nazareth Area High School, in Nazareth, PA.[1] Kate then received an A.A. in Fine Arts from Keystone College in La Plume, Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Studio Art in 2003[2] from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. She currently resides in Los Angeles. [3]
TV credits include numerous television commercials, a recurring role as Toni the barista on NBC's Four Kings, and guest roles on Malcolm in the Middle, 'Til Death, How I Met Your Mother, Cory in the House, Campus Ladies, and Scrubs. Her film credits include Bart Got a Room and When in Rome.[4] She plays Lily on YouTube's Elevator Show by Runawaybox. In early 2009, she released a five-track EP entitled Songs.[5]
Micucci appeared in episodes of Scrubs: "My Lawyer's In Love", "My Absence", and "My Chief Concern" as Stephanie Gooch, a ukulele player with whom Ted begins a relationship. She performs her song "Mr. Moon" as well as an adapted version of "Fuck You" (retitled "Screw You" for ABC), a song she typically performs with Riki Lindhome as part of the musical duo Garfunkel and Oates. She also appears in the episodes "My Finale" and "Our Histories".
As of August 2009, she can be seen on an advertising campaign for Hillshire Farms.
In January 2010, she can be seen on an advertising campaign for H & R Block tax preparation.
Micucci performs "Playin' with Micucci" every third Monday at the Steve Allen Theater on Hollywood Boulevard, in Hollywood, California. The act is described as "Songs and Stories with Kate Micucci".[6]
Kate can also frequently be seen performing as Oates with Riki Lindhome as Garfunkel in "An Evening with Garfunkel and Oates" at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles.[7]
Kate performed with William H. Macy on the ukulele to promote the DVD release of the film Bart Got a Room. The video has been circulated around the net on sites such as YouTube and The Huffington Post.[8]
On December 30, 2009 G4TV named her the #1 Woman of Comedy.[9]
