Katie Rhiannon Griffiths (born 21 January 1989 in Chigwell, Essex), is a British actress, best known for playing Chlo Grainger in the BBC1 drama Waterloo Road.

Katie Griffiths was born on 21 January 1989 in Chigwell, Essex.

Career

Griffiths has appeared in Waterloo Road since the first episode, broadcast on 9 March 2006.^{[1 ]}. It was announced by Chris Geere, in January 2009, who plays Matt Wilding in the BBC drama that Series 4 would be Katie's last, as her character, Chlo Grainger, will be graduating to University.

She played Alice in the television film Coming Down The Mountain;^[2] she has also appeared in Casualty as Lucy Hainford,^{[3 ]} and in Doctors as Gemma Mason, ^[4] and in Paradox in 2009 as Leah Holt.

She attends Stage 84, a performing arts school in Yorkshire.
