Katie Thorlakson (born January 14, 1985 in New Westminster, British Columbia) is a female football (soccer) forward, who twice won a medal with the Canadian women's national soccer team at the Pan American Games, she currently plays with the Melbourne Victory.

Career

In 2004, Thorlakson won the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. She turned in one of top all-around offensive seasons in NCAA history in 2004, with Mia Hamm being the only Division I player ever to total more goals and more assists in the same season.

Personal

Thorlakson holds a psychology degree from the University of Notre Dame.
