Keichō (慶長 ) was a Japanese era name (年号, nengō, , lit. "year name") after Bunroku and before Genna. This period spanned from October 1596 to July 1615.[1] The reigning emperors were Go-Yōzei-tennō (後陽成天皇 ) and Go-Mizunoo-tennō (後水尾天皇 ).[2]
