Keith Ferguson in 2008

Keith James Ferguson (born February 26, 1972 in Los Angeles, California) is an American voice actor best known as the voice of "Blooregard Q. Kazoo" (or "Bloo" for short) on the Cartoon Network animated series Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. He was found for the role in a voiceover workshop.[1]

A graduate of the University of the Pacific, Ferguson worked behind the scenes in television before becoming a voice actor, mostly on video games. Most recently he's provided the voice of Kaim Argonar in the American version of the video game Lost Odyssey. He has provided the voice of Friend Owl in the Walt Disney direct-to-video sequel Bambi II,[2] and played Basch in Final Fantasy XII.[3] He also does minor voices in the video game Destroy All Humans!,[4] and provided the voice of Grizzly in X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse,[5] and the gem cutters in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. He also voiced the character Budd in Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, Marluxia in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Gabranth in Dissidia: Final Fantasy. He also provides the voice of Lightning McQueen in the Disney/Pixar Cars Toons, replacing Owen Wilson. He also plays Lightning in the Cars video games, excluding the first. He also provided the voice of Romulus Blood in the video game Undead Knights.


His father was a well-known pianist in Southern California until his death in 1999.
