Career

B5 (2003–2005)

P. Diddy pulled out some of the top producers in the business to work on B5's self-titled debut album, B5. Among the producers were Rodney Jerkins, Ryan Leslie, Sean Garrett, Corna Boyz, Veit Renn and P. Diddy himself.[1] The lead single, "All I Do", originally recorded by The Jackson 5 and covered by Troop, was the suggested song to them by Jerkins and they recorded it without hearing either of the other two versions. Patrick acknowledges that their version is more reminiscent of the Troop cover than the original.[1] B5 had their self-titled debut CD and was a top 20 hit on the Billboard 200 and reached number seven on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Chart. Their images dignified fanzine covers month after month. They created a craze wherever they went or visited. In 2005 they nearly caused for mall to shut down, a Minneapolis mall when approximately 2000 fans rushed towards the stage during a free concert that took place there. B5's 2005 self-titled debut CD made an impressive debut at #19 in its first week of release on the Billboard 200 and also entered at #11 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The debut gave the hit singles "All I Do" and "U Got Me," which peaked at Radio Disney at #9 and hung on the BET "106 & Park" Top 10 for weeks.

Don't Talk, Just Listen (2007)

"Hydrolics", featuring Bow Wow, is the first single from the album and a powerful glimpse into "Don't Talk, Just Listen". "Hydrolics" Is “Most Downloaded” on YouTube.com with more than 940,000 views. The video was “Most Downloaded” on YouTube.com in its first week. In the album Don't Talk, Just Listen, B5 tried their hand at writing a few songs, with the help of producers such as Bryan Michael Cox, Mario Winans, Soul Diggaz, Danja, Blaze, The Underdogs, Insomoniax, and Mischke. The CD is executive produced by Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Kevin Wales, and Harve Pierre. B5's second album Don't Talk, Just Listen was released on September 11, 2007, which was their last album on Bad Boy records.

Audio (2009–2010)

B5 said in an interview in 2009 that they left Badboy and that they are doing Dance Junkeez since they have not been very visual lately. They are currently working on their third album which is rumored to be released sometime in 2010.[citation needed] Now they have officially changed their name from B5 to "Audio" and have been signed to UpFront Records.
