Kern Regional Transit provides intercity and rural bus service in Kern County, California. Many of its routes connect with the city of Bakersfield, which run Golden Empire Transit as an urban public transportation agency. Ten routes feature regular weekday and weekend service. Three other routes only operate on specific days of the week, and one service is designated as summer only.
