Kevin Hart (born July 3, 1979) is an American actor and comedian, originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After winning a few contests, he quit his job as a shoe salesman and embarked on a career in comedy. His performance in big shows has led him to be in feature films such as Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3, Along Came Polly, and Scary Movie 4..

Hart served as writer, co-executive producer and star of the 2004 ABC sitcom The Big House. In 2005 he won a Platinum Mic Viewers Choice Award at the BET Comedy Awards. He is also 5 feet 4 ½ inches tall. He has also starred in his own half-hour special on Comedy Central. In 2005, his daughter Heaven Lee (as in Heavenly) Hart was born. As revealed on the commentary for The 40-Year-Old Virgin, he half-jokingly commented that he doesn't want her to "become a stripper." On October 8, 2007, Hendrix Hart, a son, was born. He was recently in the "We Buck in Here" video. He recently appeared on an episode of Nick Cannon's Wild 'n' Out. In addition, he also did a stand up titled "I'm a Grown Little Man"

He also starred in the movie Soul Plane which is a comedy motion picture from MGM, released in the United States on May 28, 2004 (see 2004 in film). The film stars Hart, Method Man, Tom Arnold, D.L. Hughley, Mo'Nique, K.D. Aubert, Godfrey, and Snoop Dogg.in 2004 which he played the character of a man who had a bad experience on a plane and now started his own airline.[1]

Kevin Hart is a member of the cast of the Comedy Central show Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire, which premiered April 9, 2009. He plays the role of Zezelryck, a second rate stage magician masquerading as a powerful warlock whose greatest magical gift is spinning a line.[2]

He also played Bigg Bunny in Fool's Gold.
