The Khaleej Times is a daily English language newspaper published in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It provides general news and information.
It is published by Galadari Brothers, and was the second English daily in the UAE when it was founded in 1978, October 1.[1] The newspaper is also part-owned by the government of the UAE, and its main competitor is the Gulf News.[2]
It contains a general news section, business pages, and a sports section. As of 2009 it was the highest-circulated of the English language newspapers in the Persian Gulf. and was distibuted throughout the UAE and to Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. It had a multinational readership of 450,000.[1]
