Killara railway station is located on the CityRail North Shore Line in the suburb of Killara.

Platforms/Service

The station is served by four trains per hour each way, with additional trains during weekday peak hours.

North Shore Line all stations and limited stops services to Central and on to the Western Line. Trains from Wyong do not stop at this platform.

North Shore Line all stations and limited stops services to Gordon, Hornsby and Berowra. Trains to Wyong do not stop at this platform.

History

The station opened nine years after the North Shore line opened, with a single platform designed for conversion to an island platform once duplication arrived.

Accessibility

As the station is connected to the adjacent streets on either side via stairs, Easy Access is not available for wheelchairs.

Transport links

Shorelink runs one route via Killara station, but since 2008 this runs via Lindfield:

NightRide route N90 serves Killara station indirectly with a stop on the Pacific Highway.
