Kim Jaegyu (March 6, 1926 – May 24, 1980) was a retired ROK Army Lieutenant General and intelligence officer.
He was most famous for, while Director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency, assassinating South Korean President Park Chung Hee, who had been one of his closest friends for a long time, on October 26, 1979. He was subsequently executed by hanging on May 24, 1980.
