Kimathi Donkor (born 1965 in Bournemouth) is a British artist. Donkor graduated in fine art from Goldsmiths College, London in 1987.

In November 2004, Donkor's first solo exhibition for more than a decade featured paintings marking the 200th anniversary of Haiti's independence. Work from the show, entitled 'Caribbean Passion: Haiti 1804' has since been on tour to Nottingham[1], Liverpool and Ireland.

In 2008, he curated the group show 'Hawkins & Co'[2] at Liverpool's Contemporary Urban Centre, bringing together several of the UK's leading artists, including Raimi Gbadamosi, Keith Piper, George 'Fowokan' Kelly and Chinwe Chukwuogo Roy MBE. The show, featuring 70 significant works by 15 artists, was a much expanded version of the 2007 London exhibition, initiated by Donkor to mark the bicentenary of Parliament's abolition of the Slave Trade [3].
