Kinnula is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Central Finland region. The municipality has a population of 1,820 (31 December 2009)[2] and covers an area of 495.75 square kilometres (191.41 sq mi) of which 35.48 km2 (13.70 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 3.95 inhabitants per square kilometre (10.2 /sq mi).

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
