Career

Originally supposed to debut as a singer under her label YG Entertainment instead of an actress, she did however sing "Saranga" which became the title song of the Pure in Heart drama, and Shim Soo Bong's "I Don't Know Anything But Love" in Boys Over Flowers. She also did a duet of Kim Gun Mo's "Rain Falls on a Sleepless Night" with Big Bang member Seungri on talk show Peppermint on March 7, 2009.

She recently wrote a book, Tango (탱고). The book received good reviews and many critics praised her for her well structured sentences. This book is currently a bestseller, selling 30,000 copies within one week. She also illustrated the cover of Gummy's album.

Make her official debut as a director through her short film "A Pleasant Helper", at the 13th annual Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival on July 16, 2009. There were a total of 512 short films submitted but only 35 were lucky enough to have their works shown at the festival. Looks like Ku Hye-sun was one of the lucky 35.

Her first art exhibit Tango has come to a satisfactory ending. According to the news of YG company, Ku Hye Sun has her exhibition held at Seoul Museum 1st to 7th July and attracted about 10,000 visitors, creating a huge scene in the exhibition. Her 50 pieces of work are designs and illustrations for her novel Tango as well as some of her creative works when she was filming Boys Before Flowers during overseas.
