He recently set up a youth academy in Randburg, South Africa. This academy has since failed leaving many players disgruntled after having spent a lot of money expecting many promises to be fulfilled. Many if not all have never materialised. In December 2008 moved to Ghana and coached Accra Hearts of Oak SC[3] and was fired on 20 June 2009[4]. He worked last as Head Coach by Accra Hearts of Oak SC up to July 2009 but nowday he signed to a Head Coach of Young Africans FC for 2 years contract.

He is nicknamed "Bill Clinton" due to his striking resemblance to the former American president.
