Laghouat (Arabic: ولاية الأغواط‎) is a province (wilaya) (wilaya) (wilaya) in central Algeria. The name means "the oases". The capital is Laghouat. Other localities include Aflou, Ain Madhi, Kourdane and Makhareg.
