Fast food

For many years, Leawood upheld a ban on fast food establishments within the city limits. Since the late 1990s the ordinances prohibiting gas stations and fast food restaurants have been revoked.[5]. This source comment about no fast food restaurants since the late 1990s cannot be completely accurate as a McDonald's has been standing at the northeast corner of Roe and 119th St. since at least April, 1994.
