Lester Allen (November 17, 1891 – November 6, 1949) was a screen, stage, vaudeville, circus actor, and film director. In vaudeville, he appeared in a double act with Nellie Breen and also emceed at the Palace Theatre.[1]

Allen was struck and killed by a 25-year-old driver while crossing Ventura Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley. In front Of Bud Abbott's Back Stage Club. He was employed at the club & was on his way to work.
Fumio Hayashi 25,(Japanese Native) driver of the car that killed Allen, was booked on charges of suspicion of Manslaughter. but later were dropped because of Hayashi's Military Service.
At The time of the Accident Hayashi's age was wrong & the New York Times had all really printed that he was 25 but his actually age was 31 Fumio Hayashi (1918-1998) He was once in the American Military & was later relocated to Los Angeles California After World War II. After the Accident he was relocated again by the American Government to Kaneohe Honolulu Hawaii where he live out his life & die on July 14, 1998.
