"Let's Try It Again" is a single written and produced by Maurice Starr and performed by New Kids on the Block. It was the fourth single from their album Step by Step. It like many of their other ballads was more R&B and Soul than pop and contained lead vocals by Danny Wood and Jordan Knight. Due to the backlash they group began to receive from the industry most radio stations refused to play the song.

As a result it was their first single since "Stop It Girl" which failed to perform well, unable to crack the top fifty.
