Let's Talk About Love / Falling into You / A New Day
Has Come is a 3CD box set by Canadian singer Céline Dion, released
on October 29, 2007. Two years later, it was repacked and released
in a reusable gift box on September 29, 2009, titled
The Collection.[1]
Album
information
It contains three best-selling Céline Dion albums: Let's
Talk About Love, Falling into You and A New Day Has
Come, in an exclusive deluxe package. It's presented in a
digipak picture sleeve
complete with a 16-page picture booklet. The box set includes track
list from the U.S. versions of Let's Talk About Love, Falling
into You and A New Day Has Come.[2]
This box set is the second Dion's recording reissue handled by
Legacy
Recordings. So far, there were also released collector's
editions of two other albums as CD/DVD sets: These Are Special Times
(reissued on October 2, 2007) and A New Day Has Come
(reissued on January 29, 2008).
Chart
success
The album entered the Canadian and Belgian charts in November
2007 because of the Taking Chances success, and later
in May 2008 the UK and Swedish charts, thanks to the Taking
Chances Tour. Because of the high Swedish charting, it also
debuted on the European Top 100 Albums.
In Sweden the album proved to be enormously successful, peaking
at number 3 for three weeks and being certified gold (after just
two weeks on the chart) for selling over 20,000 copies; something
very rare for albums re-released so long after their initial chart
runs. Because of that the release date for Dion's next greatest
hits album My Love: Essential Collection was moved from
October 2008 to March 2009.[3]
