Levan Kobiashvili (Georgian: ლევან კობიაშვილი, born 10 July 1977) is a Georgian footballer who plays in midfield for Hertha BSC.

His career began in his hometown with Awasa Tbilisi. Moving to play for Metalurg Rustavi, Dinamo Tbilisi and Alania Vladikavkaz he was transferred to SC Freiburg in 1998. One of several Georgians in the Freiburg squad, he stayed there until 2003, when he was bought by Schalke.[2]

On 20 December 2009 he announced he would be leaving FC Schalke 04[3] to transfer to Hertha BSC. He will join his new club on 1 January 2010.[4] He signed a contract until the end of season with optional 2 more years.

He plays primarily as a defensive midfielder or left winger. His main strengths are his stamina and passing. Levan has a very strong left foot and is an excellent set-piece taker.
