Lewis and Clark Community College is located at 5800 Godfrey Road in Godfrey, Illinois, a town in unincorporated Madison County, Illinois, part of the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area. Lewis and Clark Community College is located on the grounds of the old Monticello College. Monticello, a women's "finishing" school, was established in 1838 and many of the original buildings are still standing. Additions of a two court gymnasium and math and science buildings have been made with additional buildings to be added. The last class for Monticello graduated in 1971 and the first co-ed class for LCCC started in 1970.

Lewis & Clark Community College competes as member of the NJCAA in the Midwest Community College Athletic Conference.

Championships: In 2008 The Lewis and Clark Community College Women’s Soccer Team defeated the No. 1 seed, Darton College 3-2 to win the NJCAA National Championship.2008 Womens Soccer Team
