From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

LINUX For You (LFY) is Asia's first publication on Linux and Open Source Software[1].

This monthly magazine from India was launched in February 2003 by the EFY Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, which also runs other magazines like Electronics for You. The magazine is also distributed in Singapore and Malaysia.

Linux for You's content ranges from introductory tutorials for newbie users to programming in-depth for more advanced users. It includes utility tool reviews, game reviews, distribution reviews and as well as industry news. It features colour content. The magazine also lists major linux user groups in India.

Like most GNU/linux magazines, LFY ships with at least one disc (typically a DVD ) loaded with free software, though usually there is a combination of either two DVDs, or one DVD and one CD.

The magazine is usually priced at Indian rupees 125.
