Tripp Campbell wins the chance to have dinner with his favorite band, Iron Weasel, He uses the opportunity to audition as the band's new lead guitarist. He later books them to perform at his high school, fooling the band into the thinking that they are being honored as "Band of the Century", When they are actually crashing a teacher appreciation assembly. Note: A reference to the series' original name (Viper Slap) is made in which during a Music Awards Show, a band named "Viper Slap" wins a set of awards, in which Iron Weasel steal. |

| Tripp takes his annoying classmate, Arlene Roca, on a date after he discovers her dad is a famous record producer. He asks her to give an Iron Weasel demo CD to her dad, but realizes it has the song "Annoying Arlene" on it. Tripp, Derek, Burger and Ash must find a way to swap it out before Mr. Roca listens to it and their chance of a recording deal slips away. Arlene invites Tripp and his band mates over to her house for a gathering honoring the demise of Hip Hop. The band is overjoyed at the opportunity to impress Arlene’s record producer father with their rock ‘n’ roll song “Pretty Bitter,” and celebrate the demise of hip hop music and the resurgence of rock ‘n’ roll. Unfortunately, Hip Hop turns out to be a cat and they quickly realize they are at a funeral and not an industry party.
