The following is a list of Law & Order episodes from the series' twentieth season (2009–2010).[1] The long-running series entered its twentieth season on September 25, 2009, for which it was moved from its previous time slot to air on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET for the NBC broadcast.[2] As of January 20, 2010, NBC ordered three more episodes planned for the season to fill in the gaps of the departing The Jay Leno Show caused by the 2010 Tonight Show host and timeslot conflict, increasing the number of orders to 23.[3] L&O was moved to Monday nights on March 1, 2010 with a two-hour telecast at 9 p.m. ET, before settling into its new time slot at 10 p.m. the following week, March 8.[4]
