| A hotel guest named Jason checks into the Tipton Hotel, and Maddie seems to like him very much. When London invites her and Jason to see a concert, she asks Maddie to play along for one night and act rich. This backfires when Jason and his parents stay another night in Boston, and when Zack and Cody get involved. They get her into the imperial suite, but another guest, the Amputator, checks into Maddie's suite, so the boys must dismantle the suite in order for the wrestler to check out. | ||||||

Zack and Cody get grounded for rollerblading in the lobby, injuring Mr. Moseby in the process. When they find out a famous couple is getting married at the hotel, they buy a camera off Maddie to take a picture of the kiss that was rumored to be selling for 20,000 dollars. Zack sneaks into the wedding and takes the picture, only for Maddie, Cody, and Zack to be busted by Mr. Moseby. The boys are grounded again for another week after Carey finds out. Note: This was originally the first episode of the entire series, as the episode style and layout was that of a pilot episode and many of the props used in the episode (such as Maddie's uniform or some furniture in the Martins' suite) were not used in future episodes. Meanwhile, a circus comes to the Tipton, prompting Cody to act like a mime. When Zack gets his heartbroken by Maddie, she gets her heartbroken by Jeff, who has a college girlfriend. Maddie then agrees to dance with Zack. Note: In the end of this episode, Maddie makes a deal with Zack. She tells him that she will dance with him at his prom, if he dances with her at her prom. |

| A rumor is circulating around the Tipton Hotel that Suite 613 is haunted by a ghost named Irene, whose husband was killed in action during the Second World War. Meanwhile, Zack plays practical jokes on everyone, embarrassing them among other people. Later, when they hear that London has dropped her purse with a thousand dollars in Suite 613, Maddie, London, Zack, and Cody all run up to get it. On the way, Muriel tells them about Irene, then leaves. When Mr. Moseby finds them in the suite later on, he tells them of the experience he had with suite 613 when he was only a bellhop in the hotel. Then Zack dares Cody to spend a night at 613 and the person who runs out first owes the other five dollars. | ||||||

Everyone's plans for Christmas are cancelled when a snowstorm traps everyone in the Tipton. Carey and the boys are stuck with Kurt. After Cody sees Carey and Kurt hugging he thinks they are getting back together. Maddie tries to get an expensive present from London by writing her name on all the Secret Santa slips, and asking London to pick. In the end though, Maddie is disappointed when London gives her a sweater that she sewed herself, with no hole for the head because there is a third arm instead. Mr. Moseby has to have Arwin's help to keep everyone in the hotel warm by firing up a furnace with ripped-up furniture. While this is happening, a couple named Mary (who is expecting a baby) and Joseph come to stay at the Tipton on Christmas Eve, and she goes into labor, but can't make it to the hospital because the roads are closed. | Prince Sanjay, The Prince of Ishkabar stays at the Tipton and becomes friends with Zack and Cody. He tells them he just wants to be a normal child and Zack takes him to the mall while Cody takes his place in a meeting with the mayor (Cody wears a Shabalakaba which is a worn on occasions in Sanjay's culture it covers the face so nobody could tell it was Cody). While trying to impress girls, Sanjay accidentally steals clothes while thinking that it was ok and that his people will pay for it. Zack and Sanjay end up in mall jail. Meanwhile, London thinks she has spotted a UFO and Maddie helps her because London keeps ordering delicious and expensive food. In the end it turns out to be a mylar balloon from London's 'Birthday Party' caught on a TV antenna. | ||||||

The French Ambassador and his daughter visits the Tipton Hotel, and both Zack and Cody develop a crush on the daughter, although neither of them knows French. Following his mom's advice, Cody locks Zack in a coat closet, then hires Mr. Moseby to translate for him. He eventually gets to dance with the daughter, but while doing so, Zack arrives with a card full of 'compliments' for Cody to say to the daughter. They are actually insults and the daughter goes to Zack. It is Bob, who speaks fluent French, who gets the daughter at the end. Meanwhile, Esteban is upset when London can beat a street thief but he can't. To cheer him up, Maddie arranges a plan for Arwin to pretend to be a thief and let Esteban defeat him. Mr. Moseby receives information that a food critic called Bernard Burnaise is coming to the Tipton to try out the food. He is told that Burnaise has three different disguises: A middle-aged woman, a Chinese man with a long beard, and a cowboy. Mr. Moseby then hires Zack and Cody to sneak around the hotel and find out who exactly is Burnaise. They conclude that a Texan cowboy is actually Burnaise and Mr. Moseby orders Chef Paolo to cook a wonderful meal for him. Things take a turn for the worse when Chef Paolo quits after being insulted, and Cody must take over, having London, Maddie, and Zack as his kitchen staff. What they don't know is that although the cowboy is impressed with his meal, he is actually not the real food critic, who suddenly appears to give the Tipton another chance when he realizes the situation and the struggle to serve the cowboy. Zack and Cody try to save the Tipton's carriage horse (Tippy) from being sold to a mean lumberjack when the horse carriage driver Henry gets retired. London borrows Maddie's great grandma's brooch, but when she loses it, Maddie makes her feel bad. Mr. Moseby arranges a banquet with Mrs. Delecourt. The boys sneak Tippy into the hotel and have him stay with Arwin, but then Tippy escapes so the boys look all around the hotel. London tells Carey that the broach is in the trash but she's not looking there. But Carey tells her that a good friend would help look for it. So Arwin and London look for it in the dumpster and run into a homeless guy. At the end, Mrs. Delecourt convinces Mr. Tipton not to retire Henry, and the homeless man comes to the hotel with Maddie's brooch. Title reference: From the movie Free Willy |

Meanwhile, Cody signs up for an advanced Calculus Math Class covering tables, Conversion and Convergences, but no one, even the teacher, shows up. Cody is jealous that Zack is acing woodshop, and signs up for it instead. He does not know anything about wood and ends up getting his first demerit and C. Note: In an earlier episode of the show, Smart and Smarterer, when Cody gets his report card back, Carey reads his card and it says he is great at woodshop, and in this episode he is bad at it. |

Maddie and London's 16th birthday parties are scheduled on the same day, even though London's birthday was 6 months ago. London refuses to change her date out of selfishness and bribes people with gifts if they come to her party. Cody gets Maddie the perfect gift. Zack wants it, but Cody won't give it to him; he instead helps find Zack a suitable gift. Aside from her family, only Zack shows up at Maddie's party while everyone else goes to London's, thus earning a hug. Maddie and London also go on a double date with twins, and Maddie ends up dating the geek twin who is really smart, yet disturbing; while London gets the handsome twin who is just as dumb as she is. Arwin builds a machine called the P.U. (Parellel Universalizer) that can take you to an alternate universe. Zack and Cody use the machine to travel to a universe where everything is how they like it, but completely opposite of the normal universe: Paris Hilton is President, George Clooney is on a coin, The Tipton hotel is the Fitzpatrick hotel because Maddie is the one who is rich, and not London. Carey is a successful singer, with Arwin being her producer (Carey is the one who has a crush on Arwin in the parellel Universe, not the other way around). Mr. Moseby's nickname is 'M' and he loves playing in the lobby and disturbing the guests. Lastly, Esteban is a cleaning lady. When Zack and Cody are grounded and forbidden to leave their suite, Maddie steps in for Cody as the producer of London's Internet show. In order to win the Golden Netty award, Cody sneaks out and gets The Cheetah Girls as guest stars for London's show but is surprised when he finds out that Maddie has already booked Chris Brown as a guest star. In the end Carey finds out and goes on a rampage against the blatant disobedience of her sons, scaring Chris, the Cheetah Girls, and the live audience, and grounds Zack and Cody in rage. Zack and Cody offer to bring their mother on a week-long vacation to the S.S. Tipton, staying in the King Neptune Suite, which overjoys Carey. However, they neglect to tell her that the only way they could afford the vacation is for Carey to be the cruise ship's singer, although Carey soon finds this out herself. Since Carey does not want to work during her vacation, she offers to pay for her room herself, although the only room she can afford is the "Sardine Suite" (storage room). Annoyed by the few privileges she has from this, she finally agrees to sing, although she falls asleep in the sun and gets a sunburn, no longer able to perform. Zack and Cody then perform in her place, stating that because their mother has made so many sacrifices for them, it is time they made a sacrifice for her. When the uppity cruise director says this is not authorized, the audience applauds Zack and Cody and says they put on a great show. Meanwhile at Boston, London is hosting a 24-hour telethon during her "Yay Me!" broadcast, while raising money for the homeless/hungry through phone pledges. However, a blizzard occurs, which prevents any of London's guests for her broadcast to get to the hotel (since the roads have all been closed). Therefore, they are forced to improvise, which include Mr. Moseby jumping through a hoop like a dog, Maddie and London performing a ventriloquist act, and London spinning plates. However, they soon realize that their internet connection has been lost for over twenty three hours and that all their performances had been for nothing. Instead, they decide to give the left-over food from the Tipton to the food shelter once or twice a week. Note: The same cruise set (the S.S. Tipton) is used in The Suite Life on Deck. The cityscape background seen throughout the episode is that of the Miami skyline. |

In the series finale, the news of a visit from Mr. Tipton gets the employees excited (and reminiscing) about their good deeds as to who deserves a possible bonus (a $50,000 bonus)… but when Mr. Tipton's helicopter lands on the roof with his welcome cake, he throws his cake on Arwin's face, which means he is in a bad mood and will fire someone. All fingers point to Carey because of the boys' mishaps, but Zack & Cody come up with a plan to get someone who doesn't work at the hotel fired. Notes: This is the last episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, before the premiere of The Suite Life on Deck. This is a flashback episode and aired during "The Suite Life and Times of London Tipton" marathon. |
