Millennium is an American thriller television series
and part of Fox's The
X-Files franchise. The series was created by Chris Carter as a spin-off
series to The
X-Files. The series aired for three seasons and 67
episodes on the US Fox
Broadcasting Network. Millennium premiered on Fox on
October 25, 1996; its final episode premiered on May 21, 1999.
Since 1996, Millennium was nominated for various awards
in its three-year run. Among them, the series was nominated for
four American Society of Cinematographers
Awards, two Primetime Emmy
Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, one People's Choice Award, and five Young Artist
Awards in which one was won. Out of the total nineteen
nominations on this list, Millennium has won four of these
awards.
