The Republic of Kosovo is recognised by 65 UN member states; 18 of which have opened embassies. Other states have retained representation offices. Russia maintains a representation office with the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK). Kosovo is currently host to seventeen embassies.
