High Stakes Poker is a cash game poker television program broadcast by the cable television network GSN in the United States. The show was first broadcast in January 2006. As of June 2009, the show is in its fifth season. The poker variant played on the show is no limit Texas hold 'em. The show is hosted by AJ Benza, alongside Gabe Kaplan, who himself participated as a player in a few episodes in Season 3.

Various locations have been used in the show. Season one was taped at the Golden Nugget casino hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The second season took place at the Palms Casino Resort. The third and fourth seasons were taped at the South Point Hotel and Casino. In Season five, the show returned to the Golden Nugget.

The participants on the show include both professional poker players and amateur players, including celebrities such as Jerry Buss and Sam Simon. The only players to have participated in all five seasons are: Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra, Antonio Esfandiari, Barry Greenstein and Daniel Negreanu.

Barry Greenstein raised over $50,000 in charital donations by uttering the phrase "LOL donkaments" on the show^[2]
