Live in Las Vegas is a live album by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. The recorded show was performed on December 12, 2009, at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.^[1] This album is the acoustic duo's third official release as this album follows Live at Radio City, which was released on CD and DVD in 2007.

Songs and Performance

The songs on Live in Las Vegas were recorded at a live concert played at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on December 12, 2009. This album marks the first official release of acoustic versions of songs from Dave Matthews Band newest album Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, featuring songs such as "You and Me" and "Funny the Way It Is". The performance consisted of a 26 song set list. Thirteen songs were Dave Matthews Band songs, five songs were from the Dave Matthews solo album Some Devil, one song was a Tim Reynolds original, and the remaining songs were various unrecorded or borrowed songs. Similar to Live at Radio City, Dave and Tim played the entire concert together, with the exception of two songs played solo by Tim Reynolds ("Kundalini Bonfire" and "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin) and Dave Matthews playing "Some Devil" solo.
