Lower Columbia College is a community
college located in Longview, WA. Established in 1934, it serves the Cowlitz and Wahkiakum counties. The
current campus was established in 1962 and is made of 25 buildings on 38.75 acres.

Lower Columbia College participates in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges, also known as the NWAACC. Prior to the formation of the NWAACC, LCC was one of the charter members of the original Washington State Junior College Athletic Conference.
David Story Field, home for Red Devils baseball, is also home to the Cowlitz Black Bears of the West Coast League, a summer collegiate and professional prospect league.
LCC competes in six intercollegiate sports, two mens teams and four womens teams.
