Ludwig Schwarz SDB (born 4 June 1940) is a Roman Catholic bishop of the Diocese of Linz, Austria. He was born in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Bishop Schwarz had to deal with the controversy over the nomination (for auxiliary bishop) of Gerhard Maria Wagner, whose selection by the Congregation for Bishops was rejected by many of the liberal deans in Austria and around the use of a controversial monstrance by Helmut Part, the dean of Urfahr. (Wagner soon gave up his bishop appointment.)
