Luis García Conde (born April 24, 1979 in Toledo) is a Spanish professional footballer who currently plays for CD Tenerife, as a goalkeeper.

Football career

García grew through the ranks of Atlético de Madrid, but never made it past the reserve side, going on to debut as a professional in the second level, with Xerez CD and CD Numancia, achieving promotion with the latter.

In 2004–05, García made his La Liga debuts, playing in all but one league match, after having being signed as a replacement for César Láinez, who had been forced to retire from football at just 27.

From 2005–07, he appeared for Madrid outfit Getafe CF. After being first-choice throughout his first season, he would backup Argentine Roberto Abbondanzieri in 2006–07, being restricted to Cup matches, as Getafe went all the way to finish runner-up, to Sevilla FC.

In 2007–08, he was not registered for the first part of the season and, in January 2008 would be loaned to Real Club Celta de Vigo, where he would not make one single appearance. For 2008–09, García would stay in the second level, joining, yet on loan, CD Tenerife, with the move being made permanent in the following summer.
