MV A1C William H. Pitsenbarger (T-AK-4638) is one of Military Sealift Command's seven container ships and is part of the thirty-six ships in the Prepositioning Program. The vessel, operated by Red River Shipping Company of Rockville, Maryland, is under a five-year time charter to MSC.

The ship is named for U.S. Air Force pararescueman William H. Pitsenbarger, who was posthumously awarded the Air Force Cross and later the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Vietnam War.
