Machine Robo: Battle Hackers (マシンロボ ぶっちぎりバトルハッカーズ Mashin Robo: Butchigiri Batoruhakkāzu?) is a Japanese animated television series produced by Ashi Productions. It ran on TV Tokyo from June 3, 1987 through December 30, 1987. It is a loose sequel to Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos, as the Stōl siblings and Triple Jim aren't in it. The villainous Gurendos' names and appearances are a parody of Japanese juvenile delinquent gangs. Hero R. JeTan has a "collar" reminiscent of a Japanese student's uniform, and robot characters smoke cigarettes.

Story

In the year 406AE, the electronic planet B-1 falls prey to the Mechanoid space gang Grendos. To fight back against them, a rough-and-tumble bunch of Machine Robo, known as the Silver Wolf team, join forces to fight them. Meanwhile, a large starship with four humans in suspended animation malfunctions and crash lands on B-1. Emerging from their ship, they find themselves caught up in the struggle between the Grendos forces and the Silver Wolf team, eventually joining forces with the latter to help save B-1 and eventually find a way back to Earth.
