The Mahindra Xylo is an MUV designed and manufactured by Mahindra & Mahindra Limited. The Xylo was launched on 13 January 2009 at Nashik. Four variants-E2,E4,E6 and E8 are available with a price range of Rs 6,24,000-7,69,000. More than 3,000 units of Xylo were sold in March 2009.[1]

History

The project, which initially had the codename of Ingenio, was announced by the company in 2006 and targeted both the Toyota Innova and Chevrolet Tavera [2][3].The project cost Mahindra around Rs 550 crore.[4] Production was started in the Nashik plant in December 2008.[5]
