Malcolm X Boulevard is a street in Brooklyn New York named in honor of Malcolm X. A similar street in Harlem is also named for him. It is the main thoroughfare of Stuyvesant Heights.
"Malcolm X Boulevard" is located in the Stuyvesant Heights/Ocean Hill section of Brooklyn, New York. It a main thoroughfare connecting Fulton Street on the southern end with Broadway on the north. [1] It was formerly known as Reid Avenue. [2] It connects with Utica Avenue at Fulton Street. The "A" and "C" subway lines serve Malcolm X Boulevard at the Utica Avenue Station on the Fulton Line, while the "J" and "Z" (Broadway/Brooklyn Line) serve it at the Kosciuszko Street Station. [3] Bus service along Malcolm X Boulevard is provided by the B-46. [4]
